As I am studying Japanese that there are so many vocabularies per lesson but I have no time to remember them all. I was thinking that it will be awesome if I can take the traffic time to do that. Therefore, I designed and developed this web app - Dictadroid.

It is an online dictation tool that you can add and store your new learnt vocabularies to the cloud so that you can review them anytime by just logging in your Google account. Also, you can perform a dictation at any time, anywhere you want. The system will randomly speak the vocabularies for you.

This web app is developed using React and Redux for the data flow control. All the data is storing in Firebase, a NoSQL database service provided by Google.

X'Mas Tank

An assignment at PolyU which is a 3D shooting game developed using Unity game engine. X'Mas Tank is a tank shooting game that player controls the tank and walks around the map for killing the enemies. The player can select the target by moving the mouse and left click to shoot a bullet. The player is required to kill as more as possible enemies in the limited time.

Indoor localization system

The final year project at PolyU which is an iOS app of an indoor localization system by using Bluetooth Low Energy device, iBeacon. The RSSI signal received from iBeacon can be translated to distance. After that, apply the Trilateration to find the intersection point of the 3 nearest beacons.

For the blue line of route, I chose the Dijkstra's algorithm. Stored the pavement as a graph and applies this algorithm to find the shortest path from starting point to destination point.

The final year project at IVE which is a web application that simulates a personal schedule but on the cloud. The main feature is to manage the users' events. However, it provides more feature for a user such as a diary, online instant chat, and media album. Our team proposes CaleBot as a calendar robot which helps users to maintain their life easier on the cloud.

This project is awarded by campus and performed in IVE Project Show 2013.
